Arizona's Beautiful Bounty

While the rest of the country is cooped up inside

with frigid cold temperatures,

freezing rain, snow and ice...


Arizona is enjoying this...

HARVEST time.

Ron, myself and the kids all enjoyed a beautiful
afternoon in the Arizona sun at the Stake Garden.
Where we got to enjoy Arizona's Bounty.

No task given was too BIG or to SMALL...
we were ready for instruction.

Katie and her friends working feverishly...

 

while the surprise of the day was...

Christopher!

Who knew this kid could work?

He loved it...and can't wait to go next time!

No more chore excuses at home...no siree!

 

Meanwhile, I had decided to take pictures of Rachel with her friends, who were going to "WASH" their vegetables...

in the canal (gross, I know!),

when suddenly she stepped BACK...

and this happened!

Jacob...or should I say

SONIC!

Jacob has informed us that he is to be called

SONIC!

When I told him his name was JACOB,

he told me then SONIC could be his

middle name.

Either way...

it has to be SONIC.

So we took SONIC to the doctor yesterday...

 

to have his BIG guns...
(or muscles as they are formally known)


and REFLEXES checked.

SONIC is enrolling for Kindergarten...

so he had to have a GOOD ole' physical

and SHOTS!!

SONIC was brave until the 3rd shot...

in which he yelled,


"STAY AWAY FROM ME!"


Hey, I can't blame the kid if someone
had poked me 4 times...

I'd be MAD, too!

here's to a SEASON of...

NUTCRACKER moments.

Cause we are pretty nutty around here :)

but how can you fault me - it is ROCKBAND!!
(I silently have to admit-I'm enjoying this little game way too much!)

We THOUGHT since we were heading to CALIFORNIA
that we would have SANTA bring the
kids THEME PARK tickets.
After doing my RESEARCH I though that
KNOTTS BERRY FARM
looked like it would be the best choice:
less crowds,
lots of roller coasters,
close to Tom and Britni's house, etc.

AND the day started out good...


With us all riding this water ride...

picked by Katie
so she could GET Ron wet...
IT worked!

(The view isn't bad either...hee!)

Then the kids BEGAN to get
tired,
hungry,
hot,
so I took them out to the car for a little
REST and RELAXATION

While Ron and Tom rode a VERY
BIG
SCARY
ride...that no one else wanted to ride.
WHILE we were "sleeping" and "waiting"
The CROWDS got BIGGER,

BIGGER

BIGGER

It turned out it was bring a TOY
and get in FREE day!!

AFTER not being ABLE to move in the park--

WE LEFT!

No worries, though...

Tom and Britni were great hosts and we still
had CHRISTMAS to celebrate!
















SPA products to make...


and COOL new pajama's to wear...

CANDY houses to DESIGN...

and the CUTEST grandbaby to see!


and until we do it ALL again...

We really enjoyed going to your FIRST birthday!

We LOVED being able to play all day in your GRACE.

You are so CUTE the way you ran around GETTING into everything...and never crying!
