Memorial Day 2013

Our memorial weekend

began

with Ron heading back to work.

With him being in retail,

there is little to no chance of anything known as a

"holiday weekend."

In the beginning it was really hard to see everyone's fun family camp outs, picnics, barbecues and

vacations...

but now I just enjoy

that we miss all the crowds

and that I have one more day to finish and complete my weekend laundry chore!  

We did this year enjoy having the grandkids stay with us while their parents got moved into a new home.

Hailee wanted to do

"NAIL SALON"

so Rachel, Katie and myself made it happen.  

 So proud of my girls...

Rachel washed and scrubbed all of our feet...

Katie clipped toenails and took off nail polish...

I ran back and forth for more towels, clean water and painted nails.

We should open a shop! 

Hailee loves being silly!

Today we had a 

POOL DAY!

 Leo is a little afraid of the water so he was never without his

"Fishie-wiki-wiki".

 Water is still too cold for me!

We played outside...

we played inside...

we watched movies...

we stayed up too late...

we got up to early...   

it was perfect!

HAILEE

turned 5 in December.

Actually only 4 days after mine!

We were going to celebrate together but our FAMILY

got the flu instead!

Lucky for us...she celebrated with friends in January at the

PHOENIX ZOO!

This is one of the pictures we took at her photo shoot for pictures she could use on her invitation!

She's a REGULAR

 Hailee and her friends were so funny together...

they had more fun fighting over everything than they did play together...but they are only 5!

 Grandma blew bubbles with her!

     She loved all her presents but her favorites were an entire collection of Disney Princess barbies!

Dear Hailee,

Thank you for inviting Grandpa and I to your birthday party!

We will always remember it because you

are so special.

We love that you moved closer to us

because we love spending time with you and seeing your

enthusiasm for life and your beautiful smile!

We love that when you see us you 

yell out

so loud that everyone can hear!

Because we absolutely love being your

That GIRLS world....

HAILEE...

is someone you want in your world!

And we LOVED it when she came to visit...she is as SWEET

as they come.

got a chance to

make Leo Cupcakes for his 1st Birthday...

and Hailee couldn't wait to HELP!

She even went to the store with me to get all the stuff...

and I couldn't help but sneak her a cookie or two!

It is FUN to spoil grandkids!

Pretty...Pretties Hailee

came to visit us this last weekend.
One day while Hailee was crying I asked her if she wanted to get

pretty, pretties

with me!
So I sat her on my bathroom sink and got her pretty, pretties.
And then of course,
I had to take her outside for a VERY special photo shoot.








She is definitely...

pretty....pretties!

Just Being Grandma...

Dear Hailee,

We really enjoyed going to your FIRST birthday!

We LOVED being able to play all day in your GRACE.

You are so CUTE the way you ran around GETTING into everything...and never crying!
NO crying...no, no no.

You are an ANGEL baby!

And we got to enjoy it ALL.
