Should I be grossed out...

CHASE Field where our home team the

DIAMONDBACKS play!

and the CHILDREN's Museum...loved it!

WEDNESDAY:
Ron and Kevin spent more time fishing...no surprise!

SECOND week...

Our SECOND week of

SPRING

brought us additional visitors

and our kids'

SPRING BREAK!

This one was special,

we got to meet our second

GRANDBABY...Leo Alexander!

What a BLESSING these beautiful
new babies are to our UNIQUE family...

they have so much LOVE watching over
them...and I feel privileged to be a

PART of it all.

We also SPENT a day with our little

HAILEE

at Makutu's Island.

I'm not sure if we WORE her out,

or if she WORE us out!

I just LOVE this picture of

Hailee--

It has HER personality written ALL over it!

And I call this the MIRACLE picture...

Hailee (who doesn't hold still) actually came OVER
to sit on my LAP,

for TWO whole minutes!

Okay maybe only ONE minute...

but it was a HEAVENLY minute!

FIRST week...

Our FIRST week of

SPRING

brought us our first set of visitors.

My MOM and DAD.

We started it all off,
with my dad teaching the kids and Ron
how to ROPE!
My dad and his older brother used to

RODEO back in the day!
They were quite the team rope champions!

Mom, DAD and I enjoyed a
SENIOR citizen day at the
Queen Creek Olive Mill, where
they served up sandwiches and chips,
and a nice tour of the MILL.

Then it was our BIG day to go
downtown Phoenix on the

LIGHT RAIL.

Mom and Dad enjoyed going through ASU,
home of there ALMA MATER and finding
the dorms where they USED to live!

BOY have things changed! :)

Ron's little BUDDY.

DOWNTOWN is quite the change from
our little home town of WILLARD, MO.
We "ain't" on the farm no more...

It was quite the treat to go to

CHASE field where the

ARIZONA Diamondbacks play and eat lunch on

TGI Friday's FRONT row restaurant.

OUR final day...

Saguaro Lake to FISH!

We LOVED having our company
come, and can't wait to do it
ALL again NEXT year!

HUMANITY first...

Recently while riding the NEW
public transportation system...

known as the Phoenix LIGHT rail,
I had the opportunity to sit next
to what appeared to be a homeless man.

My first response, I'm ashamed to say
was one of complete disgust.

He smelled bad, he looked bad
and I couldn't help but laugh.

But then something inside me, the part
in each of us that remembers that
HUMANITY should come first,
became aware that this man might have a

FAMILY...?

FRIENDS...?

CHILDREN...?

People who loved him, and who he loved back,

and then I didn't want to laugh anymore.

I've been thinking a lot about this concept of

HUMANITY first and wondered why

I forgot it for a moment...

on a TRAIN,

in March.

Where am I?

Lost in overwhelmed world!

But I'm gradually coming out of it and playing major catch up!

I can't wait to post all of our adventures for the last month.

We had LOTS and LOTS of family come visit.

And I wouldn't have changed it for anything.

I got to hang out with these wonderful people...

and visit places like the ZOO,

Queen CREEK olive mill,

Chase FIELD,

PHOENIX Children's Museum,

Makutu's Island

Ride the EVER exciting new phoenix LIGHT rail,

And for RON,

lots and lots of FISHING.
