Spoiling...just a little!

Rachel told me tonight that she doesn't think

I've been posting enough

blog posts lately.

I assured her that I would 

LOVE

to post more but that it had been a little tough

lately with all the

school projects due

and the early bedtime I had last week

because of early morning CARPOOL duties that pull me out of bed at 5:45 a.m.

While that may not seem like an early morning hour to some...

it is extremely early for me!

I may wake up early...

but I am not functional until at least 9 a.m.

EVERYDAY! 

And I never BLOG during the day!

Just too many things going on...

and way too many distractions!

So it made me think...

 maybe this week

what she really needs from me...

is to spoil her even if it is

just a little!

She is GRADUATING no less from

middle school

and she is so excited for all the exciting changes that will be coming her way!

Yesterday we went to the lake with just our TWO oldest kids...

since our youngest two already had plans.

I don't think that has EVER happened and it was nice to spend the day just with them and their friends.

Rachel's friend IZZY

had never been on a boat or even to the lake before

 and we loved sharing with her one of our favorite pastimes!

She likes it...she really, really likes it!
And to Rachel's amazing group of friends...
so grateful that each and everyone of you enjoy life
and live it to its fullest!  

So I will try to make the most of this week for her...

sharing all the joy

and excitement that she will be having

and hopefully she will feel

a little spoiled...even if it is just a week of simple blog posts!
